Human anatomy fascinates me to no end. Bone upon bone, muscle upon muscle, vein upon vein, we are intricate beings. Though we have a set stature for our bodies given to us through genetics, we still have the abilities to sculpt ourselves. As we shift through life/with life, we change. The tiniest event can twist a thought, the sweetest food could manipulate a body. Little, seemingly insignificant things, can impact our entire being in a significant way. I know nothing new has been said here that we don’t already know about ourselves, but perhaps if we take this basic idea that may/may not be thought about often by others, and we contemplate it even for a moment, we may discover something deeper within ourselves. We may discover just how precious our lives are, how delicate our existence is. If we come to that conclusion, then maybe we will ask ourselves, what we are truly living for…A sure purpose I believe, because something as fragile as ourselves, that gets beat down physically/emotionally by society each day, and still has a will power to survive (whether we are conscious of it or not), proves to me that we are existing for a much bigger reason than to just exist…
