I can do nothing apart from Him,

So why do I think that my weak attempts

To try could hide from His all seeing eye.

Let me sit and soak.

Submerged in present Presence of Hope. 

I lay barren at the core.

Insides dried like molten rock.

Tongue-stuck mouth

Dripping for drops of dew.

Sky searched eyes, take flight

Wandering distances between nights.

Jungle deserts breathe me free

Stars and trees friends to me.

As solitude silences hurried lies,

My mind floats up, Satisfied.

A King’s child, full of life.

Depths of Earth could never sever

A heart set by His endeavor.

Water He beholds,

Filling cracks of hopeless holes

Tongue tasted, seeds grow

Heart of love, overflows…

Drought knows nothing

in His name.

Go and be romanced by Our creator. Look out for His whispers of love and His continuous ways of pursuit. He speaks directly to each one of our hearts in unique and intimate ways. Let us open our heart to His callings. Just as we long to hear from Him, He also longs to hear from us. Let us speak and be spoken too, on our everyday journey with our Father, our Maker, our Love.

Like green that melts to auburn

When the fall comes in,

Is the Spirit through our hearts,

When we’re transformed by Him.

Yesterday I went to the dentist and I got xrays on one of those whole head scanner things. And let me just say…

It’s weird to see your skull before you die. I mean when you see one you automatically think death, dead, skeleton, no longer living, but to see it while living is another story. Perhaps we take for granted the human body or at least I do sometimes. Seeing what lies underneath, gives you a glimpse into a dimension that one day would take place in your life. It helps you realize that you are flesh and bones, a very complex, perfectly constructed human from a Creator who knew what He was doing. Beauty stares you in the face and so does reality, that the only reason you’re not that skeleton yet is because God has breathed life into and has sustained you thus far. This isn’t meant to scare but for encouragement, as a reminder to keep using the frame you were built upon with life and do what only You can do while you are still on this earth.
