Testimony reflections...
I just wanted to share a new perspective of my testimony that God recently showed me. Sometimes in order to see the beauty of transformation you need to step back and see the brokenness from which you came…
I’ve realized one of my biggest desires in life is to be intimate with someone. The majority of my life, I’ve had people come and go, no one taking the time to get to know me. It’s...

Shadow Stuck Girl
I’m sorry little girl
That tears cause pleasure
Blood means happiness,
That dark is home to you.
What have these shadows
brought you?
Thirsty bones, and
Bloodless veins.
Sift over cracks and peak
Into light.
See how it doesn’t force,
Inviting to bask.
Corners come, they always do
But peace is there.
Stronger is the One calling you,
Out.

Self explained...
I can do nothing apart from Him,
So why do I think that my weak attempts
To try could hide from His all seeing eye.
Let me sit and soak.
Submerged in present Presence of Hope.

A moment without Him...
I lay barren at the core.
Insides dried like molten rock.
Tongue-stuck mouth
Dripping for drops of dew.
Sky searched eyes, take flight
Wandering distances between nights.
Jungle deserts breathe me free
Stars and trees friends to me.
As solitude silences hurried lies,
My mind floats up, Satisfied.
A King’s child, full of life.
Depths of Earth could never sever
A heart set by His...

The answer to everything...
I find it hard to love people, not all the time, but sometimes. When this happens, I have to ask myself why? Where is this stemming from? Why is my wall built up? Perhaps it’s safer inside of myself, because I know that I won’t hurt myself or so I think. In actuality, I do end up hurting myself because it’s no good inside there alone.
I then go on thinking this must stem from...
Thoughts in the moment...
God works in moments and deals with the heart. Let us be in those moments and reach the hearts He wants us to. We may have only twenty minutes to share with a person. Lets make it count.

Are we living our lives like we know the Gospel?
Like we know what Jesus did for us?
The good news is called the Good News for a reason. Do our lives show the love of Christ? When people see how we live daily does that pull them towards or away from Christ? If we aren’t living like we know the One who saved us then we need to check ourselves back at the Gospel. What is it that we aren’t beliveing about what He did on the cross for us? Lets take...

Words today...
Go and be romanced by Our creator. Look out for His whispers of love and His continuous ways of pursuit. He speaks directly to each one of our hearts in unique and intimate ways. Let us open our heart to His callings. Just as we long to hear from Him, He also longs to hear from us. Let us speak and be spoken too, on our everyday journey with our Father, our Maker, our Love.

Spirit guided...
Like green that melts to auburn
When the fall comes in,
Is the Spirit through our hearts,
When we’re transformed by Him.

“He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:3
Some good truth.

Yesterday I went to the dentist and I got xrays on one of those whole head scanner things. And let me just say…
It’s weird to see your skull before you die. I mean when you see one you automatically think death, dead, skeleton, no longer living, but to see it while living is another story. Perhaps we take for granted the human body or at least I do sometimes. Seeing what lies...

The way it goes...
Self selfishly seeks inside,
Searching for reasons to die
To Self—less deeds are needed
To build us up, only when
We’re heeded to Jesus are we
Good enough. Flesh trying
to succeed, but Spirit
intercedes, planting seeds
Smaller than our eyes
Sees to believe. Soon they’ll
be trees that stomped out the
weeds, then weak drop to knees,
Just to recognize,
The King that...

Until we sit and soak in His presence...we have...
Sitting in our Father’s arms is the way we receive His love. Until we receive that,
We have no love to give on our own, and if we do, we’re not giving the people the best of who we really are in Christ.
If we have not love, we gain nothing.
